Race Advertising Banners and Signs

Before the race, you want to make sure that people know about your event! The best way to do this is to advertise your race with banners and signs! You should include the name of the race, the date and time of the race, race sponsors, contact information and registration information. You can also include any other relevant information, like registration fees, or if the race is for a charity.

Registration Banners and Signs

On the day of the event, you will want to make it easy for people to find the registration area. You can display yard signs in the parking lots and shuttle areas with arrows leading the way to the registration area. At the registration area you will want to have a large banner labeled registration so people can easily find it.

Mile Marker Banners and Signs

When people are running the race, they like to know how far they have gone. You should clearly mark every mile on the course. You can either do this with yard signs or with banners.

Encouragement Banners and Signs

During the race you can have signs available for people to encourage the racers. The signs can say things like "You can do it" or "Keep it up" to keep the runners going. There can also be customized signs for individual runners, like "Good Job Jackie" or "Way to Go Bob" to display along the race track.

Water Station and First Aid Banners and Signs

You should clearly mark all of your water stations and first aid stations with banners and signs so runners know where they can hydrate or get medical attention in case of emergencies.
